Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be a member of Fort Langley Golf Course to join?
Nope! Our club is a mix of Green Fee players and course members.
What if I don’t have a handicap?
Not a problem. Your Fort Golf Club membership includes a Golf Canada membership and our handicap chair is happy to walk you through it and get you set up.
How competitive is your club?
We refer to ourselves as more of a social club than a competitive golf club. Although we award prizes weekly, many of our games are based off net and are flighted to allow players of all abilities to participate. We have scratch golfers to 36+ handicap golfers playing each week.
How many people play each tournament?
We currently average about 50-60 players on Saturdays.
I can’t play every Saturday. Can I still join?
Absolutely! We know life gets busy and people aren’t expected to play every weekend (although many of our members do!). Sign up sheets are put our three weeks in advance.
What time do your events start?
In March, April, and October tee times typically start around 8:30am and end around 10:30am. In May, June, July, August, and September tee times typically start around 8am and end around 10am.
Can I pick my tee time?
To keep it fair for everyone, we try to mix up the tee times each week. Special requests for tee times can be made to the Club Captain but are not guaranteed.
Do you have events other days of the week?
Tuesday morning there is a ladies group, Sunday’s we have a block of tee times for our members and although they aren’t official Fort Golf Club events many of our members play during Men’s Day, Ladies Day, or Senior Men’s day during the week.
